9th Annual "They Are Worthy"
SWC Benefit Softball Tournament,
San Francisco, July 8 & 9, 2006

SWC's 9th annual "They are Worthy" Benefit Softball Tournament, held in San Francisco on July 8 and 9 at Moscone Recreation Center (Saturday) and Jackson Park (Sunday). Approximately $2,000 was raised for SWC programs, and some great sports equipment donations were collected from participating players and teams.

A total of 9 coed teams and 6 men's teams participated. The 9 coed teams were divided into a 4-team upper rec division and a 5-team lower rec division. The DD/C men's teams each had 3 games, and the top four teams advanced to a single elimination finals. ALL teams in ALL divisions were guaranteed 3 games.

Prizes included T-shirts for championship teams, MVP and All-Star prizes, and many others, including raffe prize opportunities for ALL players just for entering!
